Sweet Baby Charlie

Yesterday at about 3pm, we got the call, saying that Matt's sister, Erin, was in labor and heading to the hospital. We were waiting all afternoon and evening to hear when Baby Ussery #3 was born, and if Ussery 3.0 was a boy or a girl.

After the epidural was in place, Erin was feeling pretty good. Good enough to take a family picture, and good enough to look like a rock star in the picture! Seriously, who looks that amazing while IN LABOR? My sister-in-law. That's who! :)

At 9:20pm, Charles Kincaid Ussery (aka, Charlie) was born weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long. He is beyond precious and we can't wait to meet him!

I love this picture of Jack.... The first time Jack became a big brother, he was only 2 years old. Back then, I'm sure paying attention to Baby Brother Finn, was the last thing on his mind. This time around, at age 6, you can just see the love on his face!

After Charlie was born, the doctors and nurses noticed that he was having a difficult time breathing. He has since been transferred to a much larger hospital with a better equipped NICU. He is no longer on the ventilator, and he is making progress every minute. We are praying for you Charlie! We are also praying for peace of mind for the rest of the Ussery household. We can't wait to meet you Charlie... To hold you, hug you, kiss you and love on you! You are loved more than you'll ever know!
